Position: Investment Coordination Manager
The Opportunity:
Global Private Equity firm with over US$25 billion under management with headquarters located in the US is looking for an Investment Coordination Manager in its Hong Kong/Beijing Office.
Reporting:
The position will report to the Controller – North Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with headquarters, international administrative offices, and investment teams in North Asia on execution of investment activities.
- Work to ensure investment activities are duly approved by the relevant holding companies.
- Liaise with headquarters and with investment teams on the custody of securities and other title documents of investment.
- Liaise with outside counsels, investment teams and administrative officer in HK on the custody of investment documents.
- Monitor outside administrator’s activities in managing compliance matters for certain offshore holding companies.
- Review investment/transaction related documents (i.e. Share Purchase Agreements, Articles of Incorporation, Corporate Resolutions, Board minutes etc.).
- Keep track of key dates/events of investments and compliance matters.
Ideal Profile of the Candidate:
- 5 or more years of experience in a para-legal, corporate secretarial, or similar back-office coordination role, preferably with investment companies/investment banks or with corporate service companies ( for excellent candidate, 3 years+ is enough)
- Can communicate in English and Chinese, both in written and spoken
- The ability to work well both independently and in teams is a must
- Willing to travel occasionally
